While the bar may seem appealing from the exterior , what I discovered behind its threshold was appalling and beyond comprehension .

From the moment I stepped inside , it was evident that upkeep was not a priority at this establishment . The ground was covered in grime , and a pungent odor of old alcohol and dirty bathrooms filled the entire venue . Reeking of a mixture of urine , old age and a sickly smell. The main bar, which should be the primary feature of any pub, was littered with unwashed glassware and debris that looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in weeks . The restroom was in even more deplorable shape — backed up, with a broken handle and walls covered in what I can only assume was fecal matter .
It wasn’t just a one-off bad night either. After reading through multiple accounts and speaking with locals , it seems that the level of hygiene (or lack thereof) at this bar is a recurring complaint. Many patrons have reported seeing bugs darting across the serving surface and traces of mice in the basement . For a business that provides refreshments , these issues are absolutely intolerable and raise serious concerns about the sanitation of anything they serve .
